Southlake, Texas – May 8, 2013 – Emerge Energy Services LP (“Emerge”) announced today the pricing of its initial public offering of 7,500,000 common units representing limited partner interests at $17.00 per common unit. The common units are expected to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange on May 9, 2013, under the ticker symbol “EMES.” The underwriters will be granted a 30-day option to purchase from Emerge up to an additional 1,125,000 common units at the initial public offering price. The offering is expected to close on or about May 14, 2013, subject to customary closing conditions.
Emerge intends to use the net proceeds from the offering, excluding the net proceeds from any exercise of the underwriters’ option to purchase additional common units, to repay indebtedness, make a distribution to existing equity holders, pay compensation expenses and to pay offering expenses. Citigroup, BofA Merrill Lynch, J.P. Morgan and Wells Fargo Securities are acting as joint book-running managers of the offering. Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated, Robert W. Baird & Co.
